CEA Think Tank Detektor detects long-term patterns behind disinformation associated with social and geopolitical risks affecting the traditional Western values of freedom. Such risks derive from the geopolitical influence of China, Russia, Iran and other anti-Western regimes.
However, contrary to the progressive left, CEA avoids fact-checking, advocating regulation of free speech and politicized disinformation. Instead, CEA stands for free speech and individual responsibility for working on improvements within free societies. Therefore, resilience comes from free and moral individuals.
In that sense, CEA considers different policy risks and sources behind disinformation, especially those directed against conservative and conservative-liberal values of Western civilization.
Therefore, the purpose of the project is to promote our joint transatlantic values, based on our classical philosophical heritage, instead of post-modernist phrases that find easy popularity.
